Sea Cucumbers as Superfoods

Sea Cucumbers on Ice - Superfood

Sea Cucumbers are extremely popular in the Asian community, but did you know that they are considered a superfood? Not only are they nutrient-dense, studies have shown that sea cucumbers help to fight cancer. They also help restore hair, heal arthritis and manage other health issues arising from traditional cancer treatments.

Due to the Sea Cucumber's wound-healing, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, they subsequently improve healing in patients with gum disease.

Sea Cucumbers are also higher in protein than almost any other food, with the exception of egg whites. They are also said to have an aphrodisiac effect.

Because Sea Cucumbers have a neutral taste, they can be included in most dishes, even salads!
